Google. The Real Skynet?

Google has taken over the online world, but so under the radar that we never considered just how much they've taken over. Most people can't go a day without using some product of the Google brand. Google, YouTube, Blogger (for goodness sake!) are all under the umbrella of the Google corporation.

When the makers of the Terminator series wrote all of those movies about Skynet and computers taking over the world, they might not have thought about how close to that future we've come. Yes, most of that technology is far off in the future, and yes, time travel is impossible, but the possibility of a company like Google taking over isn't that far-fetched of an idea. This is mainly because they already kind of are.

The Google umbrella reaches far and wide. There aren't many things that Google doesn't do. I, myself, use Google docs to write all of my papers, make searches through Google, am constantly on YouTube, and sort of ironically write my blogs using a Google-owned site (aka Blogger, aka this site right here).
